Music has gotten me through the best and worst times of my life and I decided to start Promising Chord in order to share with the world some of the music that has moved me.  I wasn’t sure what to call this post because it is hard to put my thoughts into words lately.  I have decided to take a short break from writing and Promising Chord.  This is not the end.  I hope this time away will help me refocus and come back stronger than ever.  I will still be out at shows supporting my music scene.  I will still be actively searching for new music and reading every e-mail I get in my inbox.  If you are in Atlanta, I will be updating my show calendar regularly with all the must-see shows.  Promising Chord has brought me so many amazing opportunities and I’ve met so many great people/artists/musicians etc. since starting this blog.  I’m so grateful for that and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
