Hijacking Music Festival Highlights

Hijacking Music Festival was held at the Goat Farm a couple weeks back and I seriously can’t wait for next year’s festival. The music, art, food, venue, and lovely people in attendance were perfection.
Here’s my favorites of the night:
Best performance: Cloudeater
Best surprise performance: The Sneaky Hand
I can’t wait to see again: Gun Party
Best Hip-hop act: Arablak
Best Instrumental Act (3-way tie): Psychedubasaurus Rex, Odist, Hello Cobra
Band that puts on a flawless performance every time I see them: A: The Color
Crowd Participation Win: The Sneaky Hand, BOSCO
Killer band from New York: Zongo Junction

The only upset of the HJM Festival was a few acts, including Dark Room and Tricil, were not able to play due to the Goat Farm’s curfew but no need to worry they will be a part of Hijacking Music’s Holiday Party at 529 on December 17th. Found out more info HERE.
