Show Review-
Damion Suomi & The Minor Prophets
Drunken Unicorn, April 16th

I have seen Damion Suomi & The Minor Prophets live before but they put on the best show that I could watch again and again, and it would never get old.  I would say their music is a fusion of folk, punk, rock, country, bluegrass, and awesomeness.  Damion Suomi & the MP’s started the night off with “The Call” and it’s intense drum beat that pierces through you and gets you pumped for what’s to come.  They are so entertaining on stage and they enjoy the music as much as the crowd.  These guys were definitely meant to play music together and they will make you want to move, stomp your feet, and clap your hands along with them. They played “City on The Hill” which is about their adventures on tour and I can’t help but feel like I went back in time and was watching Johnny Cash instead.  They ended the night with “Let My Love” which is one of my favorites off their new album.  All the Minor Prophets take turns singing and they had their tour mates Builder & Butchers on stage too.  I had the best time and I am not even kidding when I say you have to see this band live.  You will not be disappointed.
