Show Review- Warpaint is made up of four female musicians from Los Angeles, California.  The past couple of years have been promising for Warpaint and they have been getting more and more recognition. I have seen them live twice (so far) once opening for the XX at the historic Tabernacle and I recently saw them play a sold out headlining show at The Earl on April 6th.  Two completely different venues but I enjoyed their set greatly both times.  They are talented musicians that play their instruments well and know how to enchant their audience. I would describe their music as trance-like and experimental but that in combination with their perfect harmonies make for a great unique sound. Three out of the four band members sing throughout the show and they all can sing beautifully.  Check out some tracks from Warpaint’s newest release “The Fool” after the jump.
