Over the many years of running Promising Chord, I have been asked to write reviews of local/national music releases and every so often I had the privilege to conduct interviews. My content may be sparse these days compared to even five years ago but I have not stopped supporting my favorite local musicians. I find myself out at shows chatting it up with musicians about their musical aspirations and projects.

When Billy from Irreversible reached out to see if I was interested in doing an interview I was immediately excited and inspired. With a tight timeline between the ask and the interview date, I spent a good amount of time reacquainting myself with their discography, writing up interview talking points, and reminiscing on the past. I also found out that I saw them perform eight times in the span of 2012 through 2015. Coincidentally, when getting Promising Chord back up a few months ago after being hacked I also unearthed an unpublished album review that I surprise the guys with during the interview. This interview was a very special opportunity and I was completely honored to have been a part of it.
