Show Review
The Masquerade – December 10, 2011
Jungol, Jack of Hearts, Fishhawk, and Winter Sounds made for a great night of music at the Masquerade last Saturday. I only want to express a few things about Jungol. The overall experience was one not easily forgotten and I have a strong feeling that this night will be talked about for a long time. Professionalism, musicianship, hard work, and dedication to the music. This is how I can describe Jungol with a performance that embodied all of that and more. Jungol takes precise care in handling each song they play and it really pays off. I felt the crowds connection to the band on stage and I couldn’t help but smile. Jungol played crowd favorites like “Places” and “Who’s in Bed” but also fresh new tracks that were just as great. The Masquerade was the perfect venue and the lighting production created the perfect atmosphere. Even though this was their last show of the year, look out for Jungol in 2012. It’s all uphill from here.
