Released: Digital – November 15, 2011
                 Vinyl & CD – January 10, 2012

O’Brother hails from Atlanta, GA and I have been fortunate enough to see them play around this town in numerous venues the past couple of years.  The most impressive aspect of their live performances is the atmosphere they create that is so overwhelming and personal.  Hearing many songs from Garden Window live has really built the anticipation high for this album.  Garden Window has been over a year in the making and it was well worth the wait.  Imagine being taken over wholeheartedly by the music and that is what happens when listening to Garden Window.   This isn’t an album to take lightly as it commands your undivided attention from beginning to end. The opening moments from track one “Malum”, consists of lots of kick drum and drawn out guitar notes, which sets the tone for the monster of an album to come.  Garden Window takes the listener to a whole other world.  It’s full of intrigue and passion but also has beautiful moments that will stir emotions.
Take everything mentioned above and consider experiencing the entire album live.  O’Brother is performing Garden Window in its entirety on one special night, January 6, 2012, for their Album Release Show. Big Jesus, Nigredo, and Manray will be joining O’Brother for this momentous occasion.
